Black Adam – Aldis Hodge sarà Hawkman nel film con Dwayne Johnson

Black Adam, film con protagonista Dwayne Johnson, ha trovato il suo Hawkman in Aldis Hodge. Ad annunciarlo è stato proprio The Rock tramite un post su Instagram. La notizia, in qualche modo, lascia intendere che DC e Warner stanno continuando con la pre-produzione della pellicola. Le riprese dovrebbero iniziare ad inizio 2021, nella speranza di poterlo vedere in sala verso la fine del prossimo anno.

Per quel che riguarda Hodge, di recente è apparso ne L’Uomo Invisibile ed è conosciuto ai più per il suo ruolo nella serie Leverage. Adesso l’attore si unirà alla Justice Society of America in Black Adam. Di seguito, il post di Dwayne Johnson con cui ha annunciato il casting:

Nella didascalia alla foto, Johnson ha raccontato di come ha detto ad Aldis Hodge di aver ottenuto la parte e dello stupore di quest’ultimo. “Ho chiamato Aldis per fargli una sorpresa e alla fine la telefonata si è rivelata essere una delle migliori conversazioni che io abbia mai avuto”, ha detto il protagonista di Black Adam. Alla fine l’attore ha definito la scelta di casting come “il perfetto Hawkman”.

Non si sa molto per il momento su Black Adam, se non quello che ormai un mese fa è stato detto e mostrato durante il DC FanDome.
