Poco prima del debutto del doppio finale di stagione, Disney ha annunciato di aver rinnovato The Bad Batch per una seconda stagione, attesa su Disney+ per il 2022.

In quanto casa dedicata per lo streaming dei prodotti di questo enorme franchise, non vediamo l’ora di portarvi la seconda stagione della serie.”

Star Wars: The Bad Batch è prodotto da Dave Filoni (The Mandalorian, Star Wars: The Clone Wars), Athena Portillo (Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels), Brad Rau (Star Wars Rebels, Star Wars Resistance), Jennifer Corbett (Star Wars Resistance, NCIS) e Carrie Beck (The Mandalorian, Star Wars Rebels) con Josh Rimes (Star Wars Resistance) e Alex Spotswood (Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels) come produttori aggiunti. Rau è anche adetto alla supervisione della regia e capo sceneggiatore.
