Nel corso della nottata, sono stati assegnati i prestigiosi premi videoludici dei The Game Awards 2024, che hanno visto come protagonista assoluto della serata il titolo di Sony e Team Asobi, Astro Bot, che ha fatto incetta di premi risultando il gioco più premiato dell’evento con ben quattro statuette, tra cui il Game of the Year. A portarsi a casa anche diversi premi sono stati il gioco di Atlus/SEGA, Methapor: ReFantazio e Balatro con tre statuette ciascuno.
