Il DC Extended Universe sta per ricevere una ventata di aria fresca, visto l’arrivo previsto per settimana prossima di Birds of Prey e la fantasmagorica rinascita di Harley Quinn. Il film è molto atteso dai fan per diversi motivi, sia per il ritorno al cinema del personaggio interpretato da Margot Robbie, sia per il debutto su grande schermo di nuovi personaggi. Nel film faranno la loro prima comparsa Black Canary (Jurnee Smollett-Bell), Cacciatrice (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), Renee Montoya (Rosie Perez) e Cassandra Cain (Ella Jay Basco). Il film, diretto da Cathy Yan su una sceneggiatura di Christina Hodson, avrà come villain principale Maschera Nera, interpretato da Ewan McGregor.
Dai trailer e dai vari materiali promozionali rilasciati, la pellicola promette di essere un qualcosa che a livello estetico/cinematografico non si è mai visto in un cinecomic.
Poche ore fa si è tenuta a Londra l’anteprima internazionale e nel giro di pochissimo tempo sono arrivate sui social le prime opinioni sul film.
