Uno degli aspetti più popolari di Dragon Ball sono le trasformazioni, in particolare quelle di Goku e Vegeta e Dragon Ball Super ce ne ha fornite un pò. Nonostante i fan siano stati dispiaciuti del fatto che Vegeta non è mai riuscito a raggiungere il suo Ultra Istinto, ha comunque guadagnato una nuova forma tutta sua.
Durante la serie però non è mai stata rivelata, sin da quando questa trasformazione è apparsa nella serie, la trasformazione aveva ricevuto un nome non ufficiale grazie a Super Dragon Ball Heroes, ma ora la serie ha finalmente rivelato il nome della trasformazione finale di Vegeta, Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Evolution.
