Deadly Class non tornerà per una seconda stagione nemmeno su un nuovo network: l’annuncio è stato fatto tramite Twitter dal creatore del fumetto, Rick Remender.

Nel mese di maggio SyFy aveva annunciato che Deadly Class, serie basata sull’omonimo fumetto di Rick Remender e Wes Craig, non sarebbe tornata per una seconda stagione. Nei giorni successivi all’annuncio era stato riportato dai produttori che ci sarebbe stata una speranza che la serie potesse continuare su un’altro network, ma ora anche quella possibilità è svanita.
La serie segue le vicende di Marcos, un giovane ragazzo senza tetto che si trova ad entrare nella Kings Dominion. una scuola dedita ad insegnare l’arte dell’assassinio agli eredi delle principali famiglie criminali del mondo.
Deadly Class vedeva nel cast Benedict Wong (Doctor Strange) come il Preside Master Lin, Benjamin Wadsworth (Teen Wolf) come Marcus, Lana Condor (X-Men: Apocalypse, To All the Boys I Loved Before) come Saya, Maria Gabriela de Faria (Sitiados) come Maria, Luke Tennie (Shock and Awe) come Willie, Liam James (The Killing) come Billy e Michel Duval (Queen of the South) come Chico.
