L’altro giorno, su Twitter, Taika Waititi ha annunciato il suo ritiro dal mondo del cinema. Il tutto si è rivelato poi essere nient’altro che uno scherzo, anche perché la ragione dietro il suo improbabile ritiro stava nell’intenzione da parte del regista di Thor: Ragnarok di dedicarsi al mondo del cucito.
Questo il tweet in cui il regista ha fatto il suo “annuncio”:

Taika Waititi è conosciuto per i suoi tweet comici e le sue pungenti didascalie su Instagram. Al di là del suo status di icona della cultura pop, è il regista dell’acclamato Jojo Rabbit, che ha vinto l’Oscar per la migliore sceneggiatura non originale. Nel 2022 arriverà il suo nuovo film per i Marvel Studios, Thor: Love and Thunder. Torneranno Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman e Tessa Thompson. Christian Bale dovrebbe interpretare il villain della pellicola.
