Nella notte si è tenuta la cerimonia di premiazione dei Golden Globe 2023, i prestigiosi premi della HFPA (Hollywood Foreign Press Association, la Stampa Estera di Hollywood) al meglio della TV e del cinema, che quest’anno giunge all’80esima edizione.
Dopo che nel 2022 la pandemia di COVID-19 fece saltare la cerimonia, poi sostituita da una conferenza a porte chiuse in cui vennero annunciati solo i nomi dei vincitori, l’80esima edizione della cerimonia di consegna dei Golden Globe è trasmessa in diretta dal Beverly Hilton Hotel di Beverly Hills in esclusiva per l’Italia su Sky e in streaming solo su NOW.
The Fabelmans e Gli Spiriti dell’Isola hanno conquistato la statuetta per il Miglior Film, rispettivamente nella categoria film drammatico e film commedia o musicale. A Steven Spielberg va il premio per il Miglior Regista, mentre Martin McDonagh vince quello per la Miglior Sceneggiatura. Il Golden Globe per il Miglior film animato va invece a Pinocchio di Guillermo del Toro. Sul lato televisivo sono House of the Dragon, Abbott Elementary e The White Lotus a prevalere, con Evan Peters che si porta a casa il Golden Globe per il Miglior attore in una Miniserie o film per la televisione per l’acclamata serie Netflix Dahmer.
