Come ogni anno, anche questo 2020 videoludico ha una sorta di chiusura con l’assegnazione dei The Game Awards, evento che va a premiare i migliori titoli degli ultimi 12 mesi. Era tanta l’attesa e i titoli a contendersi il più ambito Game of the Year erano The Last of Us Parte II, Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Ghost of Tsushima, DOOM Eternal, Hades e Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Alla fine l’ha spuntata il gioco di Naughty Dog, aggiudicandosi così il titolo di Gioco dell’Anno.
The Game Awards, però, vuol dire anche tanti annunci. Tra le varie novità annunciate, tra cui titoli molti interessanti dei quali però non si sa molto al momento, sicuramente la più clamorosa è stata quella del primo teaser trailer del nuovo Mass Effect. Niente di troppo particolare, ma BioWare ha confermato ancora una volta l’esistenza del prossimo capitolo (dopo averlo fatto già in occasione dell’annuncio della Legendary Edition) e i fan sono andati letteralmente in visibilio.
